Nature's Loving Bond ~

Dedicated to the life of the Penguin

Strong winds forcefully
sting faces of determination
entwined with fortitude
to withstand the devil of
it all, which is their destiny.

A loving bond so strong
the parallel between the two
picturesque statues destined to
fulfill the continuation of the gene
born between the two spirits joined.

Alas, birth peaks withstanding
the fury of nature’s hand.
A chick is born to complete the
cycle as life continues its pattern
of many mysteries born to the –

frozen land of the South Pole

Dusty ~ Remembered

Master Dusty Weiler-Donovan
April 14, 2008

Dusty ~ You came as a frisky pup,

you left as a dignified old man.
Climbing to the light going where you
may rest in your special place made
for weary canines such as yourself.

Dusty ~ Your loyalty and love can’t
compare to another for you were one
of a kind, gentlest of souls, happiness
and joy always surrounding your golden
halo of love for those who cared for you.

Dusty ~ We laughed at your antics,
the games you played the silliness of you.
Lovingly you cared for each of those in your
life as you desired, always to the fullest -

for you Dusty are love.

You have been gone two years now -
Cheryl and Billy miss you so much, sweet puppy
they will never forget you and your love

His Dying Breed

A lonely howl echoes in the night,
as he cries from solitude in the
wilderness a life given to this gentle
wolf as he searches for his mate.

Back woods trails he travels,
weaving within the forest thicket
carefully as a hidden shadow so
not to be seen by the hunter.

Crackles of bush causes him to turn,
his eyes search the dense trees to
make sure he is not discovered,
that he is not the target of a gun.

As evening sun takes its bow and buries
itself behind a massive mountain peak,
the lone wolf again howls as he calls
to her to stand by his wilderness side.

He waits to no avail, again stands
in his shadow of the moonlight as
a single tear drops to the ground,
for he again is alone in the night.

Earthly sounds surround him as his
fear of the night directs him to listen for
human dangers always present to him,
urging him to move on as he seeks shelter -

to protect his dying breed.

It's Max's Turn...

Hey!
I can pose
like that
Gracie...
just give
me a
moment
cause
I am
14 yrs old!

I don't see why that Gracie gets so excited
about those dumb Sea Gulls anyway...
what's the big deal?
All they do is eat and poo-poo!

Maybe I'll
just come
over to
Mom's chair
and take a
little snooze...
Hey!
She left
me a
snack!

Home, Sweet Home on LI in NY...

Safe and Warm in Our Apartment - Me and the Kitties!

Mother Nature Comes for a Visit, Again...

Gracie waits
for those
storm birds
called...
Sea Gulls!
A Neighbor
feeds them
daily. When
Gracie sees
the birds
flying she
pretends she is in the jungle!

Hey, Mom! Where did those big Birds go???

wet
cold snow
hammers
shows us again

Ended in the Rain

As her eyes gazed skyward,
the bright sunlight caught her
unexpectedly, causing her to turn
away with a sudden twist of her head.

Turning back again peering deep into the structure
of the clouds drifting by, she let the innocents of her
mind wander, gathering information, filling up with a
dreamy pretend game with her childish vivid curiosity.

Carefully strolling by the fountain’s edge she
again for the third time gazed at the clouded sky,
spanning the vast white structures that float within
her view bringing her visions of wonderment and joy.

She heard a whisper, softly blending within the wind.
Slowly she turns expecting to see a knight on his gallant
steed riding towards her as she waits at the fountain,
too her eyes there appears no knight, no whisper for…

her dreamy pretend game suddenly ended in the rain.

Branches of Steel

Gaining what came so low
Reaches up to an inner glow

By catching branches of steel
That sustains me gifting me real

The purest of pleasures in the sky
Gently tugs at me telling me why

I shouted, I gained wisdom I did seek
See how I grasp its smallest peak?

Ascended to a height of delicate grace
Brings contentment to this forsaken face…

solemn dreams come alive

A Winter's Hood

Shall it be the harshness of wind prevails?
As a blanket reveals the weighted white
A winter’s hood to those within her wake
That shrinks the warmth this December day

Wind blown with a mighty majestic might
Sculpture crystals forms icy snow art
Clinging to structures displaying rainbows
With prisms of a thousand hues to view

Shadows from objects stands in hues way
Blocks sun rays with bits of warm heat
Rushes a season that longs for spring growth
Dreams of snow caps that melt this year

Wintertime's stance stoutly strong and bold
Screams, white blankets shall come home again
Frozen depth, a depth of a solid mold
Prepare, the wind chill penetrates the soul

Soon the day begins to linger sunlight,
Draws precious time for a longer day
Knowing the storms won’t remain forever
Thy whole body longs for time to move on

Winning Poetry...

A Single Pink Rose

You brought me
a Single Pink Rose
that touched my heart

You gave it so long ago,
with the promise of love
and I believed in you

Fool was I to trust so completely,
foolish too believe in your words of love
for I knew from the beginning
you were not real

I see a Single Pink Rose
and I feel no more,
for it had a thorn that
pierced deeply my trusting heart

One day a true flower
will bloom and come to me,
but no thorn will it carry
making my heart bleed and weep
with heartache and sorrow

The scent will be of overwhelming
sweetness that will cradle me,
with honesty, truth and love

A Single Pink Rose has died
you have taken its beauty and love,
never shall my eyes see its hue for,
the Single Pink Rose that was given -

shan’t be reborn

Patiently I Wait

Life is a strange turmoil
of ups and downs, its ins and outs
A shadow of restlessness
that comes and goes,
flowing in and out of my mind,
a feeling of uncertainty

I ponder my thoughts and
come away without an answer
because of the anticipation of my reality
I wonder where my fate will lead me,
curious what life is all about

I long to hold on to my memories
but, I know my mind cannot
return to its past
I must challenge the future

Why do I linger in this mode of stalemate
and why do I long for what I once knew
Why do I wallow in the self pity of loneliness
when life is on the horizon for me

This moment is but a stepping stone
for my destiny is sure to shine before me
All the secrets of my life shall be revealed

I believe in the truth of my mind
I patiently await my future knowing,
I shall succeed and only then -

I shall weep no more

Forever Tomorrow

I long for what I once knew
the love of my life who was you,
coming to me in a time of sorrow
staying with me forever tomorrow.

I long for what I once had
lost love that left my tears so sad,
quickly as a special love came
it left me, but no one is to blame.

I long for what I once lost
a love I felt freely without cost,
secure with my heart complete
our love was tender and oh, so sweet -

My heart knows you shall not come home
years passed and I sit silently alone.

A Dedication to Sheila Fedoryk ~

The Tree of Life is Saddened on This Day...

Dear Sheila:

I loved you from the moment I met you
beyond the moment I lost you,
friendships run very deep, deeper than
the roots of life that sustain us,
deeper that the bond that contains us
a friendship for so many years,
today I cry saddened tears

My dear friend I don’t believe
you are gone, I know to a better place,
but how selfish am I now as I long for
you not to be in His grace on this day,
I long for you to remain, for you to endure
your place here on earth with me and those
who love your heart, begging you to stay

A moment has passed and you now have gone
I longed to see you for one last time, but my
moment is gone also, for your angel wings
took you too fast for me to catch up with
your flight to His heavenly home, yes, in a
split second you were with Him wrapped in
warmth, free from pain where you belong…

in a heavenly state of peace

Sharing Love...

My heart is full of love for all that
is around me,
My heart is full of love for all that
continually astounds me

For I take you every day
the love that comes my way,
not thinking tomorrow may
never again come to the heart that
seems so full

My heart is full of love
for those I tell not today;
for those I see not away
for those I take nor the time,
whispering a loving simple rhyme

For I take you every day
for granted that you shall stay,
within my heart
as from the start –

a love that is forever
shared with you

Gracie - Instant Love, Look at Those Eyes!

Awakened Heart

One alone doesn’t have the comfort
of protective arms or gentle words
consoling the sleeping heart with
conversation and companionship

Arriving home to a dwelling that
was empty from laughter and warmth
from another being is lonely, leaving one
to find comfort and joy within their own self

The thought of you came to mind as again
I went through another day lonely,
longing to feel an awakened heart,
to feel, affection from another’s heartbeat

I went for you, to capture your devotion
because I knew you were waiting for me within
the confines of your dwelling, a place you wished
to leave, a home you were longing for, also

Our eyes met and I knew in an instant I was to
choose you for it was meant to be, a joining of two
for it was destined, a partnership of warmth
between a human and the devoted feline

You captured my heart with a purring thank you,
with cuddling, sharing our new found togetherness
fulfilled with happiness, for you were chosen to share
my life as we dream together, I adore you because…

you are here, my feline friend

A Garden for a NY Kitty...

Friends are like beautiful flowers,
some will grown into a glorious bloom
sharing their intoxicating fragrance
with us

Others, will slowly die wasting all the
precious glory they had grown to process,
fortunate are we to have so many delicate
fragrances surrounding our lives for -

without them just think how colorless
and stale our lives would be

Solitude's Inner Peace

Solitude brings to one an inner peace,
savored and nourished for without
this sensation embedded deep within,
a rush of volcanic eruption would ascend

One has been granted this worthy seclusion,
for without this inner knowledge that was
born within the spirit's canvas of the body,
one would not arrive to their spiritual space

The secret comes from deep within,
crying to come out spreading this seed
amongst the world of despair and confusion,
sharing the truth that is buried within us all

Solitude for many may be a learning tool,
teaching those of discontent an inner peace,
giving moments to learn the real meaning of
who is wrapped in the blessing of one’s self…

thus, finding truth within a stationary being

Emotions

There are tears and then there are tears,
tears of sadness and tears of joy,
tears of anger and tears of happiness
Which shall my tears be of?

There is laughter and then there is laughter,
laughter of hysteria and laughter of delight,
laughter of disappointment and laughter of surprise
Which shall my laughter be of?

There is heartache and then there is heartache,
heartache from death and heartache from separation,
heartache from pain and heartache from sorrow
Which shall my heartache be of?

There is inner peace and then there is inner peace,
peace within thy soul and peace within thy satisfied mind,
peace through out the world and peace thought out the home
Which shall my peace be of?

emotions during a quiet moment, alone

Reaching out with His hand,

willing to touch Him

words spoken by the Lord,

Angel of Sunlight ~

Angel of Sunlight
came whispering love to me
with all her heavenly might

Spreading her glorious wings
as scents of fragrance in the air
touches my heart with special care

Deep within the beautiful bloom
newborn buds shelter their scent

Sharing all her glory with me
Angel of Sunlight flutters with glee
for I came to her longing to see…

A Bio of Gracie...

ZZZZZZZZZZ...

Because Gracie has Asthma, she can't be spayed. Max is 13 yrs and is nutered. When she swishes her tail, he looks at her like she is nuts, then turns over and goes back to sleep!

There was a naughty girl
and a naughty girl was she,
for she is always getting
into trouble
as she
wiggled around
her boyfriend
known
as he

She swings her hips
and flings her tail
she rubs his cheek
and sometimes gives
a sweet little wail
as nature
took its
turn
for it changed
her into a
sly little worm

She purrs and whimpers
and drives him wild
she plays with him
as if he were a child
this feline
can't
control
her urge…

For you see
nature came
to her
saying
it is your
time to
merge!

His Glorious Hand ~

Sometimes, one crosses another’s path when
it is least expected, for we were walking
the same road, on that very same day and
it was destined we’d meet, to be spiritually
bonded and joined by His glorious hand of love

Although we were miles apart, the event
was already laid out in His master plan as
He whispered gently to us, quietly in each
of our ears, come join together now in
harmony and share my spiritual love

Through friendship that we have acquired,
through love held deep within our souls
our special joining shall remain forever,
with golden halo’s bonding our Sisterhood,
forever etched within our fragile structures

So with this said to you my distant friend,
I send these words written with love across
the miles that completes for us, one of our
predetermined journeys, remembering…

He brought you into my heart forever

A Christmas Birthday ~

Christmas trees glimmer
with the fresh dusting of new
fallen snow under a starlit sky,
the brightest star shining down into a
manger laced with golden colored straw.

A shimmering halo captures the star as its
gleaming stream of light is given depth,
a vision to treasure for all whom have
discovered Him, who believe and rejoice,
this glorious day for what it is, His birthday.

Joyfully, gifts have been brought to Him by three
Wise Men to the manger in the stable where He lies.
All lovingly bowing their crowned heads as they adore the
newborn Christ child, our Savior, born to the Virgin Mary,
conceived knowing His birth came to be, to save a sinful world.

Loving Him for the sacrifices He shall make for the
misguided, unruly quest of man, God created His only Son.
Man, woman and child shall sing His praises on this joyous
Christmas day, His birthday as they remember the blessed
baby, Jesus lying in the golden colored straw in a manger…

a birthday gift from God to the awaiting world.

Becoming ~

The evening sun sets reluctantly
as the mind rests full of knowledge
gained from the dying day

Thoughts draining the brain seep
into the structure of the body
that carries the blood surrounding
its darkened memory bank

A steady stream of thoughts flow within
the electrical impulses of the
veins maintaining flashbacks
of words and descriptions

Hang on to me for I crave learning
from you as I root serenely within your
creative mind being taught all there
is for universal safe keeping

Here with you I tread lightly every
heavenly moment gaining poise
and grace hiding those trials of woe
for another’s laden weary brow

Whispering knowledge bestowed to me
I feel chosen by the presence
of you and your coming moment
with my own luminary being

Winds of change embrace me
gloriously as a storm approaches
my berth shutting the moon and stars
light from the sleepy heavens

Without restraints I surrender to the
silence of my being as I rest my weary
mind again against the confused and
disarray of today’s wicked world

becoming content -

becoming me

Peaceful...

What could be more peaceful than this???

My Mystery ~

I hold three magic rocks, in my hand
rolling them over and over and over
leaving this reality behind, far behind

A whisper touched my cheek
spreading warmth of a promise,
speaking a plan of what was to be

Gently circling around my tearful eyes,
opening them wide letting the promise
come in revealing the mystery of my love

Held by the arms of a power not seen,
being taught the lessons of lonely solitude
preparing for what is in store for my heart

I rise to the plan gently bestowed before me
dreaming of peaceful solitude made for two
as I come together with the one who is

my mystery -

revealed

Who? ~ Featuring John Loving, III

'Intuition Print' by Theresa Lucero

I am the now
I am the then
I am the past
I am the when

I am the known
I am the unknown
the dreaded and the longed

Certain and uncertain
bleak and fogged

I am as certain
as the bible says
and as weak as
gamblers odds

I am as far away
as a millennium
and as near as
your next breath

I hold the answers
to many mysteries
I bring certain death

I am always coming
but never am I here
some await me with anticipation
some await with fear

For science and medicine
I am the cause and cure
for history
I am justice

I am something for everything
including style for artist

Like my twin fate
and I'm often
accused of being late
but Providence
is my master
and he decides
who waits

I am the destiny
the prophets seek
philosophers and fools
often speak

As time moves
as minds think
everything chases me
and eventually we meet

But when I reach my destination
I become a new creation
I who am coming is and was
become the past

A Tribute ~ With Love

You came to me under
stars of light
alone, cold
shivering on a frosty night

Not knowing who you were or whence you came, I knew I would love you just the same

I took you in giving you warmth from my home,
knowing you’d be safe never again shall you roam

Somehow you coming was an omen outside my door,
little did you know the love you would restore

My precious feline was taken suddenly that fast,
you came to me so my love would forever last

Now you must leave for rules have been broken,
you’re healthy and your adoption has been spoken

I can’t change what roads you and I must take,
but please know unwillingly you - I must forsake

As I carry you close within my breaking heart,
please remember, my love for you from the very start -

Chanting His Love

He calls to me gaining
my attention as my head
turn towards his direction

My eyes clearly see his vision
capturing the beauty and
surroundings where he stands

A simple phase is worded in a
gentle way bringing a bonding to my
heart that will be filled with love

He calls to me repeating words
that penetrates my soul with
gentleness from his dedicated spirit

A silhouette against the light that halos
our dream like a mirage capturing the echo
of his voice penetrates deep within as the…

Whippoorwill chants me his loving song

Love, Do You...

Love, do you feel it as
it flows through the weakened
veins of lost stimulation?

Love, do you see it as
it clearly move in front of
glowing eyes of disbelief?

Love, do you want it as
it cries to open the heart
letting the emotions live again?

Love, do you believe it as
it promises to stand by your
side in honesty and truth?

Love, do you trust it as
it was carefully designed and
destined bringing you completion -

come now and rejuvenate with joy

Sequence of...

Moisture from the heat
of the moment gently trickles,
flowing in waves down the
momentum of the rhythm,
creating fire blazing within a
growing passionate movement,
from eternal longing that erupts

Heated hands touch a cooling
lost spot bringing warmth to
a departure of memories lost,
stimulating joyous sensations,
giving lasting depth bringing
life to the starving body that has
been longing to be nourished

Wild passion builds, peaking to an
exotic entanglement of day dreaming,
suddenly bringing to life expectations
that is only fulfilled in deep dreams,
of encounters within the depths of the
mind as the stimulus continues to
build within the walls of the desired

Completing the cycle of an occurrence
as the two bodies entwined in a love
sequence of…completes the joining
of the longing desirous soul,
the whimsical magic of the colors
of a spectrum of fulfillment is completed
as one lies in a day dreaming state -

with a fantasy lover, in love

Friends vs Texas Friends ~

1988 on the way to Vegas,
my daughter and I had to
drive down South to Rt. 10
because of a blizzard up North
It took us three days to drive
through the state of Texas!
I will never forget it.

FRIENDS: Never ask for food.
TEXAS FRIENDS: Always bring the food.

FRIENDS: Will say 'hello'.
TEXAS FRIENDS: Will give you a big hug and a kiss.

FRIENDS: Call your parents Mr. and Mrs.
TEXAS FRIENDS: Call your parents Mom and Dad.

FRIENDS: Have never seen you cry.
TEXAS FRIENDS: Cry with you.

FRIENDS: Will eat at your dinner table and leave.
TEXAS FRIENDS: Will spend hours there, talking, laughing,
playing dominoes or cards and just being together.

FRIENDS: Know a few things about you.
TEXAS FRIENDS: Could write a book with direct quotes from you.

FRIENDS: Will leave you behind if that's what the crowd is doing.
TEXAS FRIENDS: Will kick the whole crowds' back-ends that left you.

FRIENDS: Would knock on your door.
TEXAS FRIENDS: Walk right in and say, 'I'm home!'.

FRIENDS: will visit you in the hospital when you're sick
TEXAS FRIENDS: will cut your grass and clean your house then
come spend the night with you in the hospital and cook for you
when you come home

FRIENDS: have you on speed dial
TEXAS FRIENDS: have your number memorized..

FRIENDS: Are for a while.
TEXAS FRIENDS: Are for life.

FRIENDS: Might ignore this.
TEXAS FRIENDS: Will forward this to all their
Texas Friends and those who once lived in Texas or wish they did!

Sent to me by a true Texas friend, Ronald Bingham!
