Rain, rain go away, please come back another day...

Rain today instead of snow

wonder where it all shall go

sprinkles adorn dreary window

drips down the pane very slow

Sun hiding behind the storm

no sunlight to keep us warm

maybe tomorrow brightness comes

bringing smiles to everyone

Til then it is what it is

for the moment it is His

day chosen by Him to give

Snow globes bring wishes 

to those who long to see

no matter how silly

make a wish to what shall be

Trust your heart let it grow

through faith and love

good will come to all

from heaven above

Maybe a child like thought

will make us grin

long lost from deep within

know someone special will come

a shining star will glow tonight

Joy at Christmas is love

as the cold season spreads

we shiver as we feel

winters beauty once again

Love for peace it shall come

strong minds will over take

smile at the passerby

or simple nod will do
