A Tear of Happiness ~

When one takes a moment to touch your heart
with words written on paper expressing
what they might feel for another human
being is an honor of the highest goal -

When one takes a moment with pen and ink
expressing what they feel from deep within
their soul that has been guided by his God
is a positive, forward and upward motion.

When one takes a moment to share his love
to a stranger in his world of pain and sorrow
telling hidden secrets from long ago years passed
revealing truth as he searched for the loving Him.

When one takes a moment to show caring
in the gentlest way through his faith and
affirmation actions trusting the words that
would be treasured by the reader’s eyes…

a tear of happiness is shed.

You Bring Me Joy ~

My heart sings of You,
not of man, but of You, Jesus.

You bring me joy,
You bring me salvation.

Without You in my life
of singularity, I would be lost.

Thank you for taking care of me,
thank you for your love.

My loneliness is far easier
to bear with You by my side -

as I need not cry no more.

Whispering Mews ~

Teardrops glisten
in the winter sunlight
Thoughts of you tug
my saddened heart.

Memories of your
whispering mews.
A small grave is
silent and calm.

Your spirit walks on my right side,
Your shadow to my left…

As I remember.

Faith is the Word

Faith is a single word
that dominates my heart,
as it grows from day to day
wasn’t there from the start

Faith came one day in a haze
trying to enter my body of fears,
comforting me from a heartbreak
guiding me through my falling tears

Faith took my hand grasped it tightly
hanging on, to keep me safe today,
showing me in a persistent struggle
a path to glory, glorified His way

Faith took me to a new place in life
my heart is at peace for I am not alone;
for without Faith where would I be as
I wait here on Earth, in an empty home -

without you

A Singular Fashion ~

Longing to be loved again, has returned
in a feverish pitch, demanding attention
to the reality surrounding one’s solitary life.

Moments of a singular fashion,
a one on one mingling, with thy self lingers in the
mind, as saddened eyes gaze at couples, laughing.

Longing to be loved again, to have intimate
whispers consume every crevice that encircles
the longing desires, joining into oneness again.

Thoughts of traveling through a spiritual space,
with a loving soul who chose to grasp a spirit lost in a
solitary dimension would complete the promised pattern.

Longing to be loved again, dancing through life
swirling to a glorious waltz, completing mind and body,
spiritually bonding together, as it was meant to be.

Holding on to an eternal embrace
within one’s grasp, touching, feeling, joining
knowing it comes with mutual loving consent.

Longing to be loved again, never to
question a life of singularity, of oneness, or
hearing the individual footsteps of loneliness…

as one longing to be loved again, cries.

Judge Thee Not ~

Judge thee, I shall not
for I have no right.
But, what shall we be,
where shall we go?

Every corner
there seems to be
an obstacle,
hurdles to jump.
How high
must we jump?

Hope I shall,
but, how do we
over come this
dark shadow of the landlords
and their debts you owe -

They cry for you.
I cry also,
for our chance.

Curtains of Lace ~

Curtains of lace
Fill my world.
The cool airy
Elegance of thread,
Woven into patterns
Of sheer beauty.

Like the threads woven,
So is our life’s pattern.
So delicate but,
Strong against the world.

Intertwined are we to love
And to be loved.
This is our choice,
This is what shall be…

For Infinity.

Kittie's Garden is Outside...

My Garden is Inside...

Lighting ~

Lighting, you come to me
swiftly out of a clear blue sky.
Your thunder roars and rumbles as your
devilish bolts dart across the sky.

Dramatically the rain comes from the
black clouds, dampening the greenery below.
Lush gardens gather your moisture
being nourished for another day.

Lighting, you come to me
striking with force showing all who can see.
You shout your glory across the land
spreading your mighty power.

You lighting, are feared by all,
for you are God’s pitchfork
striking down on those
who shall not obey.

Quickly running for shelter
those who fear shall turn their ways.
For God’s powerful weapon destroys
those who refuse to hear thy voice.

R.E. Galgiani ~

Dedicated to My Father
May 22, 1911 ~ May 26, 1990

I think of him
And I shed selfish tears,
Wishing I could bring back
So many of those years.

Time he taught me
Moves so fast,
Time that is gone
Time of the past.

My love for him
As a daughter I have shown,
My father, my dad
His love I have known.

I shall miss this man
I looked up to with pride,
In my heart and mind
My Father has never died.

His memory will live
Forever and beyond
His memory I shall cherish,
Until all things are gone.

I love you Dad...

A Little Bear Story...

Little Bear without a care
Wandering in the woods,
Come and share your honey
And all your special goods.

Little Bear with honey bees
Swirling around your head,
Run fast, hurry off quick,
Hide under your little bed.

Little Bear sleeping sound
Dreaming of things too come,
Soon you’ll be all grown up
Basking in the summer's sun.

Little Bear has met his mate
A new cub soon will come,
Now you’ll collect sweet honey
With your newborn son.

Little Bear life is good
The way it was meant to be,
With Papa, Mama and Baby
For the entire world to see.

I Rescued a Human Today...

Her eyes met mine as she walked down the corridor peering apprehensively into the kennels. I felt her need instantly and knew I had to help her. I wagged my tail, not too exuberantly, so she wouldn't be afraid. As she stopped at my kennel I blocked her view from a little accident I had in the back of my cage. I didn't want
her to know that I hadn't been walked today. Sometimes the shelter keepers get too busy and I didn't want her to think poorly of them.

As she read my kennel card I hoped that she wouldn't feel sad about my past. I only have the future to look forward to and want to make a difference in someone's life. She got down on her knees and made little kissy sounds at me. I shoved my shoulder and side of my head up against the bars to comfort her. Gentle fingertips caressed my neck; she was desperate for companionship. A tear fell down her cheek and I raised my paw to assure her that all would be well.

Soon my kennel door opened and her smile was so bright that I instantly jumped into her arms. I would promise to keep her safe. I would promise to always be by her side. I would promise to do everything I could to see that radiant smile and sparkle in her eyes. I was so fortunate that she came down my corridor. So many more are out there who haven't walked the corridors. So many more to be saved.... At least I could save one.

Author's Note:

If you are thinking of bringing a pet into your family, please consider visiting your local animal shelter. It will be one of the best moment in your life. Most parents want to give their child a pet. Please remember, children are children. Only bring a pet into their lives when they are able to understand what a pet is...a live, breathing, feeling creature, not a stuffed animal that is to be thrown around. You will have unconditional love from an animal who needs you - Please hurry - their waiting to adopt you and your loving family!
