Thank you ~ Christina R. Jussaume...

Prayer for Rhoda’s Family

I extend my condolences to you all
I know your Mother’s love helped you to stand tall
I pray your Mother’s soul will ascend above
I believe she will look down with all her great love

Reflect on your memories to ease your pain
With each loving moment you will start to gain
Cherish the laughter you all had together
Remember the family times in harsh weather

Your love will remain enveloped in your heart
Comfort is felt from memories from day’s start
Like a candle that never goes out you’ll feel
The love of a Mother can be surreal!

Be thankful for each of the precious times had
Jot them down in memory bank and be glad!
Comfort I try to bring to you as I write
Remember the good times throughout day and night

A Prayer for Rhoda by Michael L. Schuh

My heart is heavy with sorrow after hearing you lost your beloved Mother today.
I am sure you love her and will always miss her in every way.
The lord call on her to be with him in heaven above.
She is still and always will be surrounded by love.
Just think Rhoda, how thrilled she had to be to look on His face.
I know that you believe she is now in a much better place.
Sure you are in pain over her leaving you
She are you had no choice it was God's wants to do.
He gives us all life and He decides when that life is to be taken away.
None of us that He made in His image are here on earth to stay.
She was here to do what God intended her to do.
Part of that task was to give birth to you.
She had to be a loving, kind, very good Mother and wife.
Her and you Father planted the seed that gave you life.
That seed had become a good strong woman and a fantastic poet.
Being a poet like you only one has to be read and people will know it.
Poets are messengers of God, chosen to spread goodness and love through words from the start.
Your Mother gave birth to you and cherished you from the start.
I hope in some way this write helps ease your grief.
Just hold on too your belief.
I pray that your family and your Mother's friend find comfort in a short while.
Please dry your tears of sorrow and try to smile.
This many not be the best of prayer.
But, it does come for a friend who really cares
Amen!

A Child's Loss

Child should remember Mother’s sweet sung song
warm arms that cradle the sad tears away
joyful moments between the two last long
Mother and child bonds it was meant that way

Lost memories of childhood - Mother’s sin
couldn’t show love from her judgmental heart
child cheated in life as what should have been
pain comes to ones mind from the very start

Love from one’s heart takes a moment to live
when felt for their child from deep within
love was there for my Mother to give
she closed her heart - this sad child could not win

Etheree...

Every Breath

God
Lead me
To this place
I became whole
Through Him I shall rise
He has shown me the way
I gave Him my loving heart
I receive favor through my soul
He has shown me how to love myself
I thank God with every breath that I take

Rhyme...

Midnight Sleep

He came to me in midnight sleep
robe of white that flowed like a breeze
His words came to me mine to keep
soft hair crowns gentle face with ease

Words of poets shall add His name
come and feel heavenly bright light
bring truth to those who hide in shame
cleansed - forever adorned in white

Pen shall rhyme His poetic words
scripture recites a truthful love
speak to all so He shall be heard
saved are you in home up above

He came to me in midnight sleep
poet’s pen vowed to spread His word
truth and His promise I shall keep
poet’s words write what will be heard

Sunlight -
Our Beginning

Sunlight awakens the world for
a new day
Sunlight streams so we may
find our way

Sunlight gives a beginning to one’s life
Sunlight helps a man to adore his wife
Sunlight becomes our stepping stones
Sunlight brightens secrets that one owns
Sunlight can reveal a hidden path
Sunlight burn away our painful wrath
Sunlight guides our eyes to see
Sunlight gathers us so we become we
Sunlight shines close to our hearts
Sunlight is truth from the very start

His Space

Blue
Up high
In His sky
Colors His peace
Hatred seems to cease
On earth for a short while
A heart shines happy with smile
Deep blue depth shows people His love
Lasting promise shared words from above
Come see His sky and what His world shall be
