His Spirit...

Holy spirit touched me

lift that rose me high

glory filled my being

never to question why

Alone for today

tomorrow will fulfill

never have to worry

for His way is thy will

Clouded thoughts come and go

mind says think clearly now

let's not ruin the day

His spirit won't allow

Faith in Him is the word

prevalent in thy heart

His love forever there

the moment life did start

Busy, Busy and Busy Again!

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

Thoughts can go

through ones mind

as the day becomes

quiet and settling

From nine to five
all around is a buss

with the hustle and

bustle of daily life

Many of the people

rush to complete their

day and chores only to

rush again once more

This is life today

as hurried as we are

slowing down doesn't

seem to work - 

I'll try again tomorrow

Organize!

Let's start at the computer...

Crossing the meadow

sun to ones back

flowers to the left

stream to the right

Pleasure and peace

comes to ones being

worries set aside

calm begins to build

Peaceful moment

is the key to ones joy

all seems right 

in the conflicted world

Life is organized

all in its rightful place

no concern or guilt

for control is formed

Taking time to adjust

is an important feat

for without organization

one will flounder through...

Some can't stand confidence...

People who gossip

should feel its shame

what is the point

why place hated blame

People who gossip

should hold their tongues

why spread their hate

to all and everyone

should ask forgiveness

not from me but Him

Same Old...

Morning has come

do same old chores

feed the kitties

rinse the food can

Plug in coffee

cup on counter

add sweet & low

go sit in chair

Go to bathroom

back to kitchen

coffee now done

add the creamer

Sit in the chair

coffee now waits

for me to sip

needs to cool down

Turn on TV

nothing is new

turn off TV

look out window...

view same old day!!!

they show up supportive

speaking a word or two

One starts to opens up

to the one who listens

comfort fills the sad heart

acceptance enhances

Everyone needs someone

maybe not every day

but, not to feel empty

friends are really needed

Cherish your close knit friends

they are always with you

as you for them also

a beautiful friendship...

Seasons

Our Four Seasons

Winter days are just memories

as warm day shall be also

thoughts of the seasons that pass

sketch memories that linger 

Streams of sunlight beam downward

touch surface of the cool earth

all long for growth to flourish

winter lasted way too long

Summer is hot and humid

grand for some hot for others

soon will pass and fall will come

beauty of foliage consumes...

Chatty Girls...

Listening is difficult

as all can voice opinions

mostly at the same moment

then it's suddenly quiet

So it goes in the girls group

sitting outside in the shade

then the chat starts up again

all speaking at the same time

To maintain a quiet mode

takes practice and good control

doesn't work for all of us

we try again and again

Tomorrow is a new day

the practice will continue

again quiet will not work

for we all are chatty girls...

Time moves slowly

along the shore

takes a moment

is there no more

Second hand spins

quiet speed

around it goes

answers times need

Morning til dark

time does move on

too fast sometimes

day is now gone

Use time wisely

does not return

moments are lost

Old Age...

Having nothing good to say

remarks from mouth are sour

always negative outlook

towards people who surround

Why can't words be more gentle

care about others feelings

give another compliment

instead of hateful comment

But, the comment isn't said

to one who has walked away

words said to those who remain
within group that are seated

Why must people be hateful

do they not respect themselves

voices that are negative
 shows no respect for people...

old age has hardened their mouth

One who takes a chance

grows within himself

darkness overwhelmed

light now enhances

Dark doesn't become

as shadows cast spells

one who rids with light

becomes enlightened

Loneliness doesn't

fulfill life one needs

smiles are now erased

Eyes fill with promise

truth is before all

walk journey of faith

completes chosen path...

that He and You will walk
