Couple of days away

events will turn all

old memories around

new vows will be said

It's fine as vows broken

were many years ago

life has moved on

emotions take new turn

To speak new vows

is necessary to complete

reasons only known to them

all's good for they'll bond forever

Thoughts of past years

come and go within the mind

their sad health news is at hand

all understanding - it is what it is

Love vows are to be spoken

completes their life's journey

choice is acceptable but, the

Quiet is the day

Monday takes her

stroll through

the neighborhood

Hustle and bustle

is beyond  suburbia

in the city where 

people do their thing

Breeze touches

the window sill

reminding us all

fall is now here

A World of Joy

Fingers type words quickly

some say slow down the pace

other say what takes you so long

some don't take time to care

The world is spinning

round and round it goes

trying to put all in place it fails

people a step ahead of each other

Laid back is unheard of today

run, run and run some more

hurry, hurry here and there

at end collect a pay check

Being a slow paced person

is pleasure, but boring at times

a little action is longed for

spice in life would bring joy...

we can slow down a bit, but

continue to enjoy our own pace

wish I was younger

for his delight

Looking for my guy to show

he'll bring me love and fun

waiting day in and day out

Past always seems to catch up

moments buried can surface

based on events heard today

issues buried can be shallow

Doesn't have to be unsettling

or blow peace to the wind

memories surface at times
this just seems to be life

Past events often stirs up others

they jump from dark to light

Miss Fix-It...

This is 'Shadow' now 3 yrs. old
Patchogue, NY

Personality is

 I want to save 

try to fix all

make good, again

Stray male cat

two years feed

got into a fight

his eye a mess

Called vet

cost over $600

him treated & neutered

but, saw his pupil today

he'll have to heal on own

This is how it goes

he ate then went outside

hope he heals fast

with a full tummy...

Calm is the word

it does what the mind commands

for without the calm

disarray occurs constantly

Emotions are up and down

decisions are difficult

concentration rarely occurs

mind spins rapidly

Be calm inside your body

take one moment at a time

to relax and move forward

why live a sad yesterday

Reward will come

common sense will overtake

rid mind and the body

of unwanted conflict...

A Whacked Out World...

Rho went bonkers changing pin codes today

Today's world

is so messed up

compared to yesteryear

Yes, we have 

automation with speed

computers, phones and such

For the young mind

this is totally great

for old timers - whew!!!

That is all I can say

for at the moment

I am totally frustrated...

with the advanced world

Busy Head!

The mind is at ease today

takes one step at a time

controls emotion right way

hope all sentences might rhyme

Low keyed the rhythm is slow

friends try to come and move

quiet day can't run and go

just can't get into the groove

It's Ok to have quiet days

take it slow till rhythm returns

some are born with quiet ways

tomorrow's zest might have its yearns

Till then again low key it is

rest and clear the busy head 

tomorrow can come like a whiz

till then will take a rest or go to bed

Well Earned...

Well earned after playing all day long...

The evening came quickly

like the dawn that faded away

all is quiet and very still

crickets chirp in the woods

Quiet motion settles the day

compared to long daylight hours

hustle and bustle yearns for sleep

vision tired peered morning to night

Tomorrow comes early with the light

all wake ready to do their living things

up and down one goes for hours

until evening when rest returns

Computer's been down

I jump on computer always my way

check Gmail mostly spam
