'To love and be loved is to

feel the sun from both sides'

warmth from the forever sun

brings promise to all who believe

Love is deep and fulfilling

those who obtain it are complete

one's who are without are lost

they long for their completion

To love is a wonderful feeling

happiness is felt in and out

problems can be resolved

through love shared together...

TV News...

As one reads the news

words are filled with grief

death, fire, accident

never a good word

Watching early news

easier than late night

gets one depressed

just too much horror

Of course it all can't

be joy and happiness

world is to big for that

to much going on

So, early it is

taking it all in

from day to day

until a moment...

words can come easily

thought more difficult

One who chats with excess

is know as a 'chatterbox'

and yes even age

Sometimes people are

hard to understand

one wonders where their

brains are certainly

not housed in their skulls

Sometimes the older

one gets the dumber

they become it seems

one doesn't think and

can't figure it out

Sometimes age should help

us grow you would think

some just don't get it

age doesn't become

them or their dense brains

Sometimes one has to

stop and think clearly

do little planning

steer life's direction

upon the right path

Hope Can...

Hope is a wonderful word

enlightens all that surrounds

clear vision is in the light

gives one strength to carry on

Issues can be small and dim

not much to worry about

hope makes life much simpler

it displays a bright outlook

Add the word hope to your mind

let it play its tune for you

the down attitude will go

sparkles can fill a dark void...

hope can leave a shine today

Shadow ~ I am 3 yrs old now...

Shadow 3 yrs. old ~ 2019

Two years ago he came

starving, cold and frightened

ribs on his body showed

as he chewed food he growled

Neighbors worried for squirrels

feared for the birds they fed

but, this starving feline

paid them no attention

Finally all gave in

daily they looked for him

where is he they would ask

he's around I replied

His name is now Shadow

still he's not adopted

but, fed by me daily

thin as he roams around

When it is cold and damp

he comes in for the night

he get along well with

Gracie and Sissy Girl

He knows his place inside

for Gracie is the boss

somehow animals know

how to be good if they...

sometimes need a warm home

Hidden Dreams

Fate is at the finger tips

wishes can go up or down

to long was kept a secret

the quest is yet to be found

Little squirrel come out to play

He protect from up above
