One's Comfort...

"Linus" got's the right idea...

Comfort of one's home

is a safe place to be

all don't think on these terms

they run around in a search

Home is a safe haven

it's a private personal space

surrounds them on a daily basis

with a good meal and soft blanket

Those who can't find this

sad feelings overcome

 for true comfort of peace

never touches their hearts

Where one lives is developed

by a personal pride that grows

their surrounding is sacred

stop a moment and find...

 your true haven called home

Happy Ash Wednesday and the Beginning of Lent

Rainbows hide in the shadows

they wait to show beautiful glow

their time will come slowly

then everyone surely will know

Glory of promise from above

full of a long life for all

who take the time to believe

strong faith shall never fall

Peace contained in the heart

opens eyes to a freshened day

 take step to strengthen one's stance

doing it peacefully your way

He is with us forever he says

important for all of us to see

without faith empty souls remain

living in hell yes, that would be we

bit too soon for warmth

Rainy Windy Days...

Rain you come on a cloudy day

washes all the sins away

waits for the sun to shine

come again in given time

 Wind blows you're very cold

rustling leaves that lay so bold

all stir around the ground

until their new home is found

Sun will come again in its time

gathers all together in a rhyme

weathery days are here and there

we need not worry or have a care

Love...

Love is all around us

if we take time to feel it

one who finds the other

will receive love if it is fit

Sometimes this takes time

to search for a special love

and then again for some

it comes instantly from above

All is happy within one's soul

love comes to a heart with delight

life now seems to be complete

for the relationship is just right

Wish upon a golden star

to express your hearts glow

someone will come to your life

maybe even someone you...

The Wild Geese...

The beauty of nature...

Peering out my window

see the Geese in a flock

doing their thing eating

their bodies solid as a rock

Beautiful birds a joy to watch

come every day to eat the grass

of course they leave their duty

but love to see them pass

Nature is a beautiful thing

with her growth and animals too

the daily joy it brings to me

Dr. Here We Come...

Good news is wonderful

as we go through our daily grinds

Dr. appt. was great and all is well

Yes, I have A-Fib but apparently

to catch it early has it rewards

blood thinner med doing it's job

So, don't be afraid to go to the Dr.

earlier the better if something suspected

I went because of slight dizzy spells

See, all worked out for the best

and I have no fear at all...

you either...go if you need to

if for nothing else to feel at ease!

Fear some people have it

some people don't

why does it come

and from where

Fear is scary

can control ones mind

sometimes out of control

but, can be maintained

heart doctor today
to check out my A-Fib!

A new month has begun

hopefully a fresh scent in the wind

It seems this past year was harsh

painful hurt spread amongst us all
