Ripples from the tide caress the image

A touch of grace came into view

With widened eyes one can see

new teachings written on the scroll

Coolness brought down the heat

That penetrated the souls search

Bright visions of clarity now prevail

Whispers of thanks became prevalent

Again, blessings have come

To care for one at a needed time

Again, He has figured it all out and

Came to aid the one who has lost tears -

Her Awakening

Her Awakening

A short story with No U’s

Walking down the street she clings closely to the

brick wall for leverage as her footing seems a bit

 weakened by the danger within her desperate life

Longing to regain her stability again, she lifts her

head high as if reaching for the light in the heavens

brightness she longs for above her saddened head

Dreariness weakens her stride, determination lifts

her frail body again with strength of a warrior she

knows where she is going and with faith on her

side, she will gain her waited moment of glory

Past events drained her spirit deep inside, only for

a moment did she go back, daily the women became

stronger, faces the mental sorrows of the dark shadows

once again, she fights to rid her mind of the evil that

lingers reality gives her the painted portrait to carry on

Realizing that not all harm comes to harm one a smile

comes to her lips, a bright glow to her eyes as her

vision of the world changes to a new different light

This light of clarity is the path that she now will

walk overtaking her lost expectations of the mind

The brick wall was her promise to her glory as

she walked in weakness it brings her new direction

and strength to carry on, to feel the promise of a

new beginning - in her memory she searched and

recalled the teachings learned as a small child

No more shall she feel alone or distant from those

who cross her path in haste - for her path has now been

chosen as faith is the key to peace within her mind,

 learning to love ones self brings happiness and joy...

Seeing the light, eyes open wide - to her awakening

Peaceful meadow filled with buds of beauty
dance in the wind that spreads colorful waves
to all who fill their hearts with gentle love
smiles wipe the frowns as serenity comes

Twisted minds are calmed just for a moment
allows destined light to a despoil path
peacefully listened to one's lonely heart
light upon one's eyes show pathway ahead

Footsteps in one's stride directly broadened
as ones path become visual and ready
new direction, new thoughts, new horizon
rejects fear continues directed walk

Minds confusion calmed as the light prevailed
faith overtakes the weakened structures state
trust as stable foot carries the body
confidence takes shaken will of despair -

as one becomes whole again in their heart

Sometimes ~ the head will go into
whirlwinds with unexpected
gentle pleasures, a meeting that
suddenly came from out of the blue

Sometimes ~ the mind will say
how did feelings come so quickly
when it was only a moment’s view
that we shared something in common

Sometimes ~ the lonely body comes
alive again with unexpected emotions
starting one’s internal blood to rise with
sweet rushing that swirls in its flow

Sometimes ~ the waiting heart will say
this is it for dreams can come true
love will seek us again as he and I
discover our long awaited fate

Peaceful Sleep Comes...

Gracie 3 Years Old

Tree branches are bare as if not to care

Golden leaves lay by the shivering trunk

Nourishes the earth they become a pair

Season passes dead leaves on earth have sunk

Chilly the winds blow on the country road

Wet leaves are heavy lie still in their beds

Nature will take them she’ll carry her load

Grind the fallen till they are golden threads

Snow comes soon a white blanket covers graves

Shelters nature’s gift sleep comes to their site

Season completes her cycle comes and saves

A peaceful sleep comes without any fright

As day ends, the moon will shine in the night

In the morning, there will be a bright light

dampness like a blanket covers

almost like a day in Autumn

shields you and me and all lovers

They hold hands the couple share love

bonded their venture is complete

young love is so very precious

we remember moments so sweet

Love only comes to one it seems

when young they learn about the world

they discover what living is

rushed daily living is so whirled

New love is a beautiful thing

a date I shall always treasure

as I heard a gentle cry from him

cakes with candles shall come here no more

Coming to my house**she was saved by God

Alone scared I ran quickly and picked her up

Searching for Mom Kitty, she fled in woods

Kitten was starving gave her warm milk

Took an adjustment but then she drank

Not good as her Mom’s but it works

Fed safely in her new home

Gracie now takes a nap

Directed home
