There are times in one's day
when all seems to go at a slow pace
Years ago life seemed to move
beyond ones control at a fast race
Maybe age has to do with one's thoughts
or it is just the world that speeds by
for everywhere we go and what we see
life and her manners flutters in one's eye
Who knows - taking one day at a time
going along with life and her ways
thankful to be here on earth loving soil
it's what's we've longed for many a days
Yes, personalities can go up and down
depending on life that's in our heads
one step at a time seems to slow things down
bringing us to an area where we were lead...
