Thank You Neighbor...

 

 

I do the Inside...

Rubin, you do the Outside 

  

 When one lives alone it is so nice

to receive help from a neighbor

also the neighbor give one the ability

to hire them to do work in ones garden

 

Well, that was my day today

a neighbor worked in my garden

got all the weeds out of the soil

and of course I paid him nicely

 

I use to do all that yard work myself

but, as one grows older it is helpful to be

able to hire someone to do the work so all

is beautiful again as I look out my windows

 

I want to thank Rubin for working for me

doing a beautiful job ridding the weeds

toiling the soil and trimming the plants

I am very thankful for the work he's done...

Faith Within Our Hearts...

Weather is currently unrecognizable

as the sun considers hiding in the clouds

time to be low keyed and smell a breeze

as we listen if the wind will be loud

 

Days like this are welcome as we sit alone

nice to be content in our comfortable home

maybe tomorrow the light will begin to shine

then its time to go out into the world and roam

 

Take a ride see the water and its glow

do a little shopping but not a large amount

going out away from ones every day walls

but take it easy don't join to many to count

 

Being content within ones own life

becomes easy as days go silently away

with age one surely will slow down but

never will His love for us ever go astray

Words from the Soul...

 

Today is a day of rest as this

soul was very busy yesterday

always seems to be this or that to

take care of every moment in time

 

Sometimes life is difficult when one lives

alone - but one learns how to take care

taking it one step at a time to stay on track

so life does not catch up on a wrong note

 

I am happy that I take care of me...being

married years ago to an Air Traffic Controller 

who worked shifts he taught me a lot about

life of which most women don't have a clue

 

Yes, it is lonely for my two daughters live

in different states far from me - hey, this is

life and I have to deal with it! I am totally

grateful to God that He is with me daily and...

 

      ALWAYS SHOWS ME THE WAY!!!
