Midnight Sleep
He came to me in midnight sleep
robe of white that
flowed like a breeze
His words came to me mine
to keep
soft hair crowns gentle
face with ease
Words of poets shall
add His name
come and feel heavenly
bright light
bring truth to those
who hide in shame
cleansed - forever adorned
in white
Pen shall rhyme His
poetic words
scripture recites a
truthful love
speak to all so He
shall be heard
saved are you in home
up above
He came to me in midnight sleep
poet’s pen vowed to spread
His word
truth and His promise I
shall keep

will be heard
