throughout whole school
studies on hold
as we listened
Excited
heard bat crack
we would cheer
New York
Yankees
Won!

A Dramatic Hexaverse consists of five verses. First verse five lines, five syllables each line. Second verse four lines, four syllables each line and so on completing the poem. Last verse is one line with a one syllable word.
