Peaceful meadow filled with buds of beauty
dance in the wind that spreads colorful waves
to all who fill their hearts with gentle love
smiles wipe the frowns as serenity comes

Twisted minds are calmed just for a moment
allows destined light to a despoil path
peacefully listened to one's lonely heart
light upon one's eyes show pathway ahead

Footsteps in one's stride directly broadened
as ones path become visual and ready

gentle pleasures, a meeting that
suddenly came from out of the blue

Sometimes ~ the mind will say
how did feelings come so quickly
when it was only a moment’s view
that we shared something in common

Sometimes ~ the lonely body comes
alive again with unexpected emotions
starting one’s internal blood to rise with
sweet rushing that swirls in its flow

this is it for dreams can come true
love will seek us again as he and I

Gracie 3 Years Old

Tree branches are bare as if not to care

Golden leaves lay by the shivering trunk

Nourishes the earth they become a pair

Season passes dead leaves on earth have sunk

Chilly the winds blow on the country road

Wet leaves are heavy lie still in their beds

Nature will take them she’ll carry her load

Grind the fallen till they are golden threads

Snow comes soon a white blanket covers graves

Shelters nature’s gift sleep comes to their site

Season completes her cycle comes and saves

A peaceful sleep comes without any fright

As day ends, the moon will shine in the night

In the morning, there will be a bright light

Coming to my house**she was saved by God

Alone scared I ran quickly and picked her up

Searching for Mom Kitty, she fled in woods

Kitten was starving gave her warm milk

Took an adjustment but then she drank

Not good as her Mom’s but it works

Fed safely in her new home

Gracie now takes a nap

Directed home
