Sometimes as the
calendar pages turn
memories come about
August is hard
It seems so many
things happened in
the warm month
of August
I was born
I was married
I lost my son
but life goes on
One thing good
September 1st came
my youngest daughter
Patti Ann was born
So see hurt can
be repaired yearly
for after August
comes September...
