A Pen’s
Expression
Poetry, expression to share
Poetry, expression to share
hidden in an
eternal hall;
written
with emotional flair
poems safe
in a journal’s wall.
Emotions mentally engaged

poetry,
expression to share,
line by
line gives birth to a page
ink drying
on paper with care.
Words conveyed so one is aware
Words conveyed so one is aware
secrets
told a revealing way,
poetry,
expression to share
calls you hear what words may say.
A poet’s world is a gentle way
A poet’s world is a gentle way
composed
with compassionate care,
words
penned forever and a day
poetry,
expression to share.

Hi Rhoda. You are absolutely right.... "poetry is expressions to share." You share your expressions so well. Pens have expressions too; the expressions that we allow them to create through us. Enjoyed reading this as I enjoy all of your work. Thanks for sharing and continued blessings in all you do! -MJ
ReplyDeleteThank you Maurice for your kind words. Your support always lifts me up to a higher level. Expression is within us all, but most can't put their thoughts on paper and they remain hidden. Sad - for so much that is buried should come out to be shared with others. My heart thanks you for being a loyal supporter...rg
ReplyDeleteLove this Rhoda! The rhyme works well to convey your thoughts. The first stanza grabbed my attention right away. Keep up the good writing my friend.
