ReplyDeleteRhoda, I Loved your poem. This old negro spiritual came to my mind. "No body knows the trouble I've seen, Nobody knows but Jesus." I also am reminded of a quote by Shakespeare. "To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man." I may well have misinterpreted it but these are the thoughts that came to my mind. Your poem is well written and thank you for sharing it, All roads for me lead to Jesus.
