New beginnings rose this morning
with the glow of a twilight sun
thoughts encouraged came soaring
brings long awaited hope to one
Time passes so swiftly one thinks
as they wonder where it's all gone
memories are lost in a quick wink
with thoughts the mind does long
Life is what it is for all
there is nothing we can do
but be happy and stand tall
for life is there for me and you
