Day draws to an end
with thoughts put to rest
time passes with a swift turn
that will bring tomorrow's glow
When time slowly passed
days to be seemingly long
years pass as time caught up
wish it would slow just a bit
Clocks are mental fixtures
lets us know when and where
minutes gone will never return
hands will always move forward
Taught long ago time shan't return
use the moment at hand wisely
for it is precious and by our choosing
can defeat us or bring us glory...
