Quiet are the thoughts of the mind
one wanders within their own being
gentle were the movements as one
strolled the paths of wonderment
Questions consume the trail of thought
as to why the world is what it is today
for the memories of yesteryear are real
days of gentle hours of thought and growth
Or was it really -
maybe the mind hasn't moved with time
one became stagnant for the feet refuse to walk
as the world progressed to a modern mode
Ordinary reminders of years gone by
the reality of what was is no more
for modern generations have captured us
spinning the level headed into confusion...
