Sunday morning is clear and crisp
frost has finally come for a while
not wanting it this past year but,
in the cards for it is nature's style
Love the cold clean winter months
seems to refresh all that is around
prepares the earth with lots of water
for spring buds to sprout their crown
Days are short - nights very long
going about ones daily chores
look forward to the snow just ahead
locking all the window and doors -
as Mother Nature does her thing
with her loud howling roars!
