Now is the time to band together
whether it be at home or away
America has changed drastically -
who and what is America today
As a proud World War II Baby
I remember the innocent violence
and remember warnings from the Police
not beatings, not killings all around us
Las Vegas - my home away from home
sadly I watch the news about the Strip
and the horrible killings that took place
an unknown, a 'lone wolf' - shooting
People today seem to lose it
maybe too much pressure or news
on television or violence in movies -
I don't know, I just know America
today is a place that became...
